That’s why we started compiling this list of free baby and mother care samples available in Singapore.
We’ve organised the offers by category so you can quickly find diaper samples, milk and maternal nutrition samples, baby skincare, weaning products, postpartum essentials and baby welcome packs. We also periodically check the list because free samples come and go surprisingly quickly.

First-time parents will probably get the most value from it. Before our baby arrived, there were plenty of products we assumed we needed and brands we thought we would use, only to change our minds once we actually started using them.
Diaper samples are especially useful because fit can differ considerably between brands. The same applies to baby skincare, where you may prefer to test a small amount before committing to a full-sized bottle.

How to Get Free Baby Samples in Singapore
The easiest way to get free baby samples in Singapore is to register directly with baby brands and their parent clubs. Diaper companies, nutrition brands and baby skincare companies frequently use samples as a way for parents to try their products before buying a full pack.
Some samples are mailed directly to your Singapore address, while others may come in the form of vouchers or redemption codes.
Another surprisingly productive place to look is a baby fair. Brands often distribute individual samples at their booths, while organisers may include additional products in registration or goodie bags.
Hospitals and maternity programmes are worth checking too. If you’re pregnant, find out what maternity membership programmes are available through the hospital where you intend to deliver.
Our advice is to start requesting samples during pregnancy rather than waiting until your baby arrives. You’ll probably have considerably less enthusiasm for filling out registration forms once you’re operating on two hours of sleep.

Which Free Baby Samples Are Most Worth Getting?
Not every freebie is worth handing over your personal information for. If we were prioritising, diaper samples would be near the top of our list.
Diapers are one of those products where buying the largest pack immediately can backfire. Different brands fit differently around the waist and thighs, and a diaper that another parent swears by might leak constantly on your baby. A few sample pieces can be enough to tell whether you want to buy a full pack.
Baby skincare samples can be useful for a similar reason. Rather than buying several full-sized bottles while trying to work out what you prefer, a sample gives you an opportunity to see the texture, fragrance and general suitability first.
Maternal nutrition samples are also easy to try before committing to an entire tin, particularly because taste can be surprisingly important when you’re expected to drink something regularly.
For small promotional merchandise, we’d be more selective. A free tote bag or tiny toy is nice to receive, but probably isn’t worth filling out a lengthy form or sitting through a sales consultation solely to get it.
A Note About Free Formula and Milk Samples
You’ll notice that many of the milk samples on this page are intended for pregnant mothers or children aged one year and above.
This is important because Singapore has restrictions surrounding the marketing and promotion of infant formula, and you shouldn’t expect the same range of free samples for newborn formula that you might find for growing-up milk.
Always check the age stated on the product rather than requesting a sample simply because it is free. Formula and growing-up milk products are designed for specific age groups, and the eligibility requirements on sample forms can change.
If you have questions about what to feed your baby, particularly during infancy, speak to your child’s healthcare professional rather than choosing a product based on which brand happens to be offering a sample.
Are Free Baby Samples Really Free?
Usually, but it’s worth reading the conditions before signing up.
Some brands genuinely send a sample at no charge. Others may provide a voucher instead, require you to create an account, restrict the offer to one sample per household or make the promotion available only to children within a particular age range.
You should also expect many registration forms to ask for information such as your name, mobile number, address, expected delivery date or child’s date of birth. Some include consent to receive future marketing communications.
That doesn’t necessarily make the offer bad, but we think parents should know what they’re exchanging for the freebie.
Before submitting any form, check:
- who is collecting your information;
- whether you’re agreeing to marketing communications;
- whether there is a delivery charge;
- the age or pregnancy-stage requirements;
- whether the sample is limited to one per household; and
- whether the offer is still available.
We prefer linking to official brand sample pages wherever possible for this reason.
When Should You Start Collecting Baby Samples?
You can start during pregnancy.
In fact, pregnancy is one of the better times to register because some maternity clubs and maternal nutrition programmes specifically ask for your expected delivery date. You’ll also have time to organise the samples before your baby arrives.
We wouldn’t go overboard trying to build an entire newborn stash for free, though. Samples are most useful as trial products, not as things to hoard.
Keep the diaper samples organised by size, check expiry dates on consumable products and avoid opening skincare products until you’re ready to use them.
Once your baby arrives, you can then request age-appropriate samples as they become relevant.
Don’t Forget Baby Fairs
If filling in dozens of individual online forms sounds exhausting, baby fairs can be a much easier way to pick up several samples in one trip.
Brands commonly use Singapore’s major baby fairs to introduce parents to diapers, bottles, skincare, feeding products and other baby essentials. Depending on the event, there may also be registration goodie bags, purchase-with-purchase gifts and samples distributed directly at individual booths.
The catch is that we wouldn’t recommend going to a baby fair just to collect freebies. The crowds and queues can easily make a tiny packet of wipes feel considerably less exciting.
If you’re already going to compare strollers, car seats, breast pumps or other larger purchases, however, it’s worth keeping a tote bag handy for the samples you pick up along the way.
Other Ways to Get Baby Freebies Without Brand Samples
Samples aren’t the only way to reduce how much you spend while figuring out what your baby actually needs.
Parent blessing groups and neighbourhood communities can be particularly useful for baby items that are quickly outgrown. Parents regularly give away clothes, toys and other usable items once their children no longer need them.
Hand-me-downs from friends and family can be even better. Babies use some things for such a short period that buying everything new rarely makes sense.
For hygiene and safety reasons, however, we would be more selective about accepting certain second-hand items. Always inspect used baby products carefully, check whether there have been recalls and consider whether an item is appropriate to reuse before accepting it simply because it is free.
How We Keep This List Updated
Free sample offers change constantly. Brands may pause an offer when stocks run out, replace a physical sample with a voucher, change the eligible age range or discontinue a promotion altogether.
We periodically revisit the offers in this guide and remove or update those that are no longer available.
