If you’ve been following us on Instagram for a while (and thank you if you are!), you may have noticed that we take a lot of pride in our home gym. We had always planned to build our very own gym – in fact, many decisions regarding flat selection and home renovation revolved around this space!
While we could do with just dumbbells, we wanted to expand our workout options and all-in-1 trainer was perfect, especially as it took up less space than a conventional commercial gym and could fit nicely into a room.
We explored our options even before getting our house keys, and visited the homegym.sg showroom to learn more about the different machines available before settling on the Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer.

Bodyx vs Force USA
Like most people, we did consider getting Force USA, but the sales recommended getting Bodyx instead as it’s a reputable Korean brand that works the same – but cheaper!
In addition, we got bumper weight plates, an Olympic bar, and a bench to complete the whole setup.
Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer Price
Total price of our Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer (including installation, sans bench) came up to S$5690.
Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer Review
After having used this all-in-1 trainer/multi-functional squat rack for close to half a year, we thought we could share a quick review on how it has been for us so far.
You can read the full list of features here on Homegym.com’s website, but we’ll pull out a few key ones that have worked brilliantly for us:
Comes with many attachments
From leg press plate too T Bar Row Handle, there’s everything we need to do a variety of workouts without having to go to a big gym.

We didn’t take photos of all the attachments, but if you’d like to know what’s included you can checkout the official photo provided:

Multi-grip Chin-up and Pull-Up station
Tofu V especially works a lot on her pull-ups, so she really likes this! It also comes with a bouldering grip that’s interesting – we’re assuming this helps climbers who want to improve grip strength.
The multi-grip Chin-Up and Pull-Up station comes with a huge 250kg weight rating and has an ultra-comfortable grip. This allows us to perform wide-grip, close-grip, underhand, overhand and many other positions, which is great for targeting different parts of the back and shoulder muscles.
The Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer also has an included strap attachment to help you work towards your chin-ups and pull-ups if you’re not able to do one yet!

Weight stack
The weight stack makes it easy to change up the weights as and when we need. Our only gripe is that the stacks don’t quite stack together closely – not sure if it’s an issue with the pulley system – so it does get a little difficult to slot in the pin.

Easy maintenance
Despite regular use (we’re looking at about 2-3 times per week), we’ve not found any major problems so far with everything, including the trainer itself and the various attachments included.
The rubber bumper plate set was an especially fantastic investment compared to traditional metal plates as they don’t rust easily and are much hardier.

All in all, we’re really enjoying the convenience of having the Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer at home as we can now work out as & when we want, without having to wait around to use equipment in a crowded gym.
If you’re contemplating whether to get a simpler, more basic squat racks and smith machines, our opinion is that it’s much better to hold off on the purchase and save up to get a multi-functional trainer like the Bodyx MFORC All-in-1 Trainer instead. You might find that the basic models are not sufficient for a good workout and still end up having to go to a gym outside, which defeats the purpose of having a home gym.
The potential cost savings from buying a multi-trainer can also be significant in the long run, especially with gym membership price increases!
