We’ve published a couple of reviews for our wedding vendors on our website, so we thought it’ll be useful for us to do a round-up review for Singapore couples looking for recommendations and/or reviews!

Wedding venue: Art di Daniele Sperindio
This is a 1-star Michelin restaurant with one of the lowest minimum spend! It serves amazing food & views, and is located right in the central of Singapore, near many public transport options.
If you do a quick Google search, you may realise that there are some mixed reviews on this venue. However, we had a really good experience hosting our wedding here. We’ve kept it at 4 stars because Tofu V wishes there was a bridal changing room.

Bridal studio: Odelia Bridal Studio
This was another amazing budget find that is so underrated! The gowns here are really gorgeous, and you get to choose from ANY of the gowns when you sign on their affordable packages.
They don’t do any hard-selling or use scammy tactics, which we really appreciated! The staff are also very friendly and on-the-ball, often sending us timely reminders for our appointments.
We would love to give them 5 stars but capping it at 4 stars because we are not big fans of their photography during our PWS. But that’s a pretty minor blip!

Makeup artist: Dawn Yeo (@mua.dawn)
Tofu V actually booked her way in advance because she had seen Dawn’s portfolio and knew instantly that she loved Dawn’s style!
Dawn leans towards natural Korean makeup looks but has a flair for whimsical touches like ribbons & bows, which is really very cute.
They clicked well during the bridal trial and Tofu V really felt very assured about letting Dawn take creative rein, because she really knew what Tofu V was looking for.
Capping this at 4 stars though because her rates are not cheap! She can also be rather unresponsive when she’s very busy.
Floral bouquet: Sanwraps
Tofu V initially went with this vendor because they offered a preserved floral bouquet that could be kept for 6-12 months. It cost S$240, but Tofu V bit the bullet because she would love to keep the flowers from her special day for longer.
All was good until the wedding day itself, when Tofu V took out the bouquet from the paper bag that it came in and she realised to her horror that the white ribbon (which is supposed to flow down for a gorgeous aesthetic) was stained with SO MANY blotches of green! The tofus had left the bouquet in a dry spot in the house, had not wet the bouquet, and the day was absolutely bright & sunny!
After the wedding, Tofu V reached out to Sanwraps to flag that this had happened because it obviously wasn’t normal. They simply said that maybe it was the humid and wet weather, and that they would offer to change the ribbon if she was near her studio.
Obviously the tofus know that nothing much can be done since the wedding was way over, but just imagine if the green dye/ink had stained your wedding gown, ruined your happy day and photos, or required compensation from the bridal studio because the stain can’t be washed out?
After Tofu V shared about her experience on Lemon8, she received this message from a fellow user about the business’ reply, which honestly sounded rather unprofessional:

AD photography: Deion from beforedawncompany
This was actually Tofu G’s friend haha but aside from that, we really liked his photography style and all our AD photos were so beautiful!
He was also very friendly, very enthusiastic, and knew what to look out for. He used the remaining time (we bought an 8-hr package) to help us do a quick photoshoot at the National Gallery and even refunded the remaining unused hours.
Turnaround time was also very quick, think it took about 1-2 weeks only!
Wedding venue decor: Props and Petals
Props and Petals is a pretty famous wedding venue setup vendor in Singapore – they frequently run ads on social media haha.
We think the setup was quite good but their rates were pretty expensive (a few thousand) for just artificial flowers. They also asked us to pay a deposit for wet-weather scenarios (in case their props got wet) at the last minute, and didn’t refund this deposit until Tofu V chased them for it.
Bridal nails: The Nail Atelier
This nail studio is one of Tofu V’s top wedding MVPs!!
The story was that she chipped a few of her nails right before the wedding from working out. Tofu V asked if The Nail Atelier could fix the nails and they actually managed to do it – not even sure how!
Tofu V also showed a reference photo of what she was looking for (some marbled art design) and they recreated the design very nicely. Best part was that this only cost her a little above S$100, including fixing all her sad broken nails!
Tip: They are very popular and slots are extremely difficult to book. Tofu V highly recommends blocking out a weekday morning or afternoon for an appointment, preferably just 1-2 days before your wedding!
Wedding bands: Fat Anvil Studios
If you’re looking to create special, one-of-a-kind wedding bands, on a budget, and are not specifically looking for big brand names, we would highly recommend reaching out to Fat Anvil Studios.
The workshop process was much easier than expected, and the end result was so gorgeous (& meaningful).
Best part? It costs way less than if you bought generic big-brand wedding bands!
